I want to use the new meta data functionality to set a field, A_hideTag, as hidden, similar to using HidePrefix=%.
To do this I write
TAG FIELD A_
hideTag WITH $hidden;
When comparing the meta data of A and %A they both turn up with the tag $hidden.
The problem is that A% is hidden in the application but A_hideTag is not.
Have I misunderstood the $hidden tag or do I do something wrong?
Please have a look in my attached qvw-file.
With the release of SR1 is this issue solved.
Please report as a bug. I've tried different options on the syntax (dropping the 'with'). You can see the '$hidden' tag is assigned thru Settings>Document Properties>Tables, but 'Select Fields' and in fact the Settings view dont appear to be honoring the setting.
Thanks

I've done so. Waiting for a reply now. I guess I'll keep using hideprefix for now.
