Small squares appear at the end of cells in excels exported from Qlikview

I have a problem with the data that is exported from Qlikview.Small squares appear at the end of a number of cells, for the excels exported from Qlikview.

Is this a common/known issue ?

Is there a fix for this ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Nayana,

I think its blank space, delete that blank space in original file and load the data.

I believe it is Fake and Blank data so remove it from the data and then load

Try use like Trim(FieldName), RTrim(FieldName),LTrim(FieldName), Purgechar(), Keepchar()

Hi, Nayana.

I have experienced the same problem and discovered that carriage returns were in the source data QlikView was using. QlikView carried these hidden characters through to excel which is when it was exposed as little squares. The choice I had was to correct the data at source or follow a similar route to the one Anand recommends.
