Qlikview with Cloudera

Hi,

I would like to know if I can install Qlikview Personal Edition (QPE) in a Cloudera machine.

I would like to connect to HDFS files from Qlikview.

Is it possible with QPE?, do I have tu use another version?

Same question about connecting QPE to MongoDB

Dear Juan,

Yes you can Install QlikView Personal Edition and connect with Cloudera, MangoDB as well as others.

You need to know that, Personal Edition and License Edition both are same there is no difference. There is only one difference, with Personal Edition you will not be able to open any kind of QlikView Document (.QVW) which is created by other user.

Dear Juan,

QlikView is only available for windows based environment. However, you can install/run on Ubuntu / Fedora using Wine.
