Qlikview consumes too much memory and Shared sessions disconnected

Hi,

I am new to qlikview. My qlikview environment contains 1 Frontend server(Accesspoint/publisher) and 1 Backend server.

Product name:                QMS Backend Core x64

Client Build Number:      11.0.11414.0

Target Platform:               x64

RAM configured:          64 GB

My Issues are:

1) The Backend server

The service QVS consumes too much memory and can reach up to 61 GB usage. It looks like it does not release unused memory!

Anywhere to look for MEMORY setting in the Management Console?

2) Shared sessions

While connected via Shared sessions, without warning or further explanation all connected users are disconnected. No information about the reason are shown in the qlikview system logs.

How can I debug and get more information? How can I see the configuration of Shared sessions?

I need your help!

Thanks

Bashir Gas

Hi,

If the no. of simultaneous user are more then the server utlization is more.

Sometime due to that we have to restart the service or kill the QVW from developmentside which we are working if its taking more memory which indirecly affect server performance.

You can see the active user, Performance, QVS Statistics under the QMS -> Under Status Tab
