Qlikview App in Windows Startup

Hi Experts,

I have a strange request from my manager that he would love to see a qliview application(which we do check on a daily basis) can be appear automatically once we start our computers in the morning. His intention is to see that application by default once his employees open their work stations. Is there any chance that we can place an application/dashboard in windows startup queue?

Thanks and Regards

I could imagine it with a batch-file within the autostart with a command line like here described:

You could preload the dashboard, then link directly to it and make it the default page when opening your browser:

  • Preload via the Publisher task - Server, Performance, check Preload
  • Then create a link similar to this for IE Plugin - http://<access point server>/Qvplugin/opendoc.htm?document=<document.qvw>&host=<qvs server>
  • AJAX link would be - http://<access point server>/QvAJAXZfc/opendoc.htm?document=<document.qvw>&host=<qvs server>

Hope that helps,

Jason
