I have 2 vbscript modules on my qlikview document, one for opening an excel file on a shared drive and one for EDX.
To run vbscript on the server I've enabled "Allow Macro execution on server", "Allow unsafe macro execution on server" and "Enable server push over HTTP tunnels" on the QMC.
I know that we cannot run macros through the browser if we open through the AJAX plugin, so I use the IEplugin (Qvplugin) on Internet Explorer to view the dashboard.
But I don't why the macro execution is not happening.
When I tried to run it through a Qlikview desktop (Leased license) installed on the server itself, it worked.
However if I execute the macro in the IE browser, it does not open the excel file, nor does EDX run.
Am I missing something?
