QlikView 12 Application: Filtering Performance

Hello Community,

We have QlikView applications with large size QVDs. When we apply filters on the reports, the KPIs are rendered one after the other with time lag (from 2 seconds to 30 seconds) in between them. The reports contain huge data which slows down the calculations and eventually application rendering.

Is there any option in QlikView for,

1) Displaying all KPIs together after all calculations?

2) Adding a progress bar in the application while filtering?

Hi,

Have you already perform an analysis with Doc Analyzer (tool that you can download on Qlikviex Cookbook)?

I believe this was the link the prior poster was referencing:

https://qlikviewcookbook.com/category/performance/

Here is another one that may provide some ideas too, this is the main Design Blog area base URL from which you can search that area:

https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-Design-Blog/bg-p/qlik-design-blog

There are hundreds of how-to posts in that area of Community, so you may find some posts there that will give you some ideas too.

Regards,
Brett
