Qlik view vs qlik sense

Hi,

I need to chose between qlikview and qliksense but I´m having doubts about the time to fix some bugs before changing the platform to qlik sense.

Qlikview is not the best choice when we want to upgrade to cloud but it works.

I saw some big bugs on qliksense and I don´t now the time they will take to fix them:

-Size of columns are the same. Qliksense chose the biggest one to size them (It´s wrong)

-Exporting data is not available for the users that use your aplication

-You can´t store qvd´s

-When you print a pdf, only the content visible are printed (the scrool was fixed but not the printing).

-You can´t have multiple tabs in a single view.

-You can´t have a unique selection in a filter box.

I tried this on "bussiness" but I´m not sure if it works on enterprise edition. It´s dificult to sell a project in qliksense with this problems.

Does any one knows how long it take to fix those problems?

Dear Felisberto,

Be careful regarding bugs, fixes and work as design. Qlik has a big team to help all customers and provide any kind of clarification.

Please, contact your sales partner to perfom a meeting and explain these technical requirements.

Answers below:

-Size of columns are the same. Qliksense chose the biggest one to size them (It´s wrong):

  Incorrect: The product is auto-size, but you can change the columns size.

-Exporting data is not available for the users that use your aplication

   Incorrect: You can set the flag "Export Data" on the Security Rules;

-You can´t store qvd´s;

    Incorrect: It´s possible to store Qvd´s on both Qlik solutions. Check the help.

-When you print a pdf, only the content visible are printed (the scrool was fixed but not the printing);

    Correct: It´s work as desing. Just think with a table with 1mil rows. How many pages do you want to print?

-You can´t have multiple tabs in a single view.

    Incorrect: It´s possbile creating mashups. Check the help.

-You can´t have a unique selection in a filter box.

    Incorrect: its possible to choose one or multiple itens.

Dear Ricardo,

Those options are available in both versions? Bussiness and Enterprise or only at Enterprise? I can´t show you multiples discussions about those points.

Are you talking about cloud bussiness version also?

Sorry Felisberto,

All those answers were about Qlik Sense package who must be installed, instead of QS Cloud.

I did the mistake.

But, I still recommend that you should talk with a local sales manager and technical team.
