Presentation agregation

Hi community,

Is there any way to show in the total (in a straight table) the list of selected values of 1 or more dimension.

I explain:

My dimensions are: region, factory, product, sub-product.

My mesures are: quantity produced, quantity transferred, quantity bought, quantity sold, quantity received.

Right now I am using "totals on the last line" in the presentation tab.

I want to display the total depending on factory, region and product selected by the user. Lets say :

Total : {Region} {Factory(ies)} {Product}

Is it possible to achieve that?

Thank you,

Abdallah

Hi Sunny,

I am using a straight table. I have 3 dimensions and 10 mesures.

I am able to add a total line, as sum of the rows,  in the bottom of the table. The label of this line I defined it as Total.

What I would like to know is:

1. am I able to add sub-totals,

2. am I able to add the value selected in my dimension (factory name) for example : Sub-Total {Paris, London} {sub-total value}

Thank you

Enable same feature for all dimensions like "Show Partial Sum"

Show Partial Sum is NOT available on Straight Tables only on Pivot Tables

Hi,

You should be able to use:

Sum(TOTAL <Region, Factory, Product> [Quantity Produced])

as a separate expression. It will show on all lines though which is unfortunate.

A more 'good looking' solution is to use Pivot Table instead of Straight Table and Partial Sum in Presentation tab.

Would you be able to elaborate on this with an example as to what you have and what you are trying to get to?
