Pivot table with some dimensions expanded.

Dear All Friends,

                        Can I create a pivot table where some dimensions are expanded but not all dimension.

                        Suppose there are 5 dimensions..

                        1.Month

                        2.Location

                        3.Sale Type

                          4.Sale No

                          and 5.Sold Qty.

I want to show only 1,2 in expanded mode and 3,4 and 5 in pivot mode.Its depends on user to pivot or not.

Please Help me its urgent.Waiting here for your fast response.

Please give me an idea so that I can make a pivot table like straight table and some fields can be pivot.

Hi,

from your description it sounds like you are trying to have the default position of your chart be expanded out to just the first 2 dimensions? If that is the case you can simple expand all on those first two dimensions and then save your application like that, it should save the chart in that position so that is it default position when your users load it up.

Thanks for replying.But I want something more.

Please give me another idea which is not dependent

upon the user.everytime we save it or not it will show in a same format.

Because we can save it like that but who dont know about that he/she

can save it in a different pivoting manner.

So please give me some idea.
