I want to be able to filter by certain aspects for some reports, but not for others. Here's an example of what I need:
I have a table with a list of salespeople and their sales, with the following fields:
OfficeLocation
SalesPerson
Department
Sale_#
Items
SaleAmount
TotalCost
SaleProfit
Now, let's say I only want each sales person to be able to view their own sales. That's easy, I just set security by SalesPerson. However, I want each sales person to be able to see their Department total also - just not be able to dig deeper into that.
Is there a way to filter by SalesPerson for the detailed report (by sale #) but have a summary report that is only filtered by Department?
