Only Single Selection in Listbox

Hi

In my Qlikview file having an listbox with Expression. Now  i want to make user to restrict multiple selection in listbox.

How can i work on this.

Hi,

Make one selection in the listbox, the go to the listbox properties, General, and check "Always One Value selected".

Hi,

   I dont know it works with expression list box or not but you can try this.

   Select a value in list box and then go to properties. In general tab you will see Always one selected Value.

   Check this.

   And see the difference.

Hi,

In listbox whether we selected a field directly then you can able to select "Always one selected Value". or

if you written an expression in listbox , then you cannot able to select " Always one selected Value" bcoz it will be in disable state.

Other than this any option to choose "Only one Selected".

'Always One Selected Value' option is not available for calculated fields according to QlikView Reference manual.

You may add this field to your table in the load script and then add the listbox.

Hi,

According to what krishnamoorthy says, just create that field in your script, that should look like

Table:
LOAD *,
     Year(CaptureDateTime) AS CaptureDateYear
FROM...

Now use that CaptureDateYear field in a listbox, select one value and check the "Always One Selected Value".

Hi ,

Actually i am sorry provided wrong calculated expression in previous QVW file. pls check the new calculated expression.

I am using Calculated Expression in General Tab.

I cannot provide it in Edit Script what you said in the post.

Pls see check the attached QVW file.
