Need urgent help for running the report through Macro

Hi,

I am trying to reload the report through macro in the accesspoint. It is showing following error after cllicking the button in order to save the changes and reload the report.

Is the macro compliled correctly in the marco editor in QlikView?

How is the permissions set on the server?

The Macro is running as expected on server.

The permission is set as 'Allow System Access'.

It's not working through IE browser (i.e. qlikview accesspoint)

Is there any way to work with IE also ?

Why i'm intrested in using the IE is most of the macro are working through IE plugin when compared with other browsers.

Please can you provide any idea on how to avoid the Error Message in IE also.

Hi Neha,

It could be that you are using different version of IE Plugin. Update it to version 9 or higher and it would work.

Hi Neha,

I have got another work around which could help you solve the problem

1. Open your QVW file via Internet Explorer

2. Type Ctrl + Shift + M

3. Choose the option "Give System Access to Module Script" and click "OK".
