Hello,
so i work a lot with SVG Maps. When i got to my current working sheet i can see that every SVG map object need 40KB.
I will have a total of ~100 of this maps. Hidden and only displayed when needed.
This means the needed memory is 4MB (together with all other objects probably 5MB).
Now i am not quite sure what that means for me and for server and client hardware.
Does this means my server needs a lot of RAM? Does this mean my clients need a lot of RAM?
Does this mean my clients and my server need a really fast internet connection? (Even though only 1 SVG image is shown at a time).
Hopefully suppliing a good server is enough to handle the workload.
I expect probably at maximum times to have ~30-50 people working with the qv application.
So what server specs do you recommend? If this is only a client problem - are 5MB too much to handle for a client? I have no experience at all handling those numbers.
I would realy apreciate any recommendations and answers!
