Linking to files from server

Hi,

I have a document which contains links to files. On my local machine I'm able to open them just fine. I have uploaded the document and the files to the server, but the links are not working. I've allowed unsafe macros on the server. What steps am I missing, or is this just a network config issue?

Confirm the permissions of the folders.

I've added both my Windows login and the user for the document. When clicking a link in the document while browsing it from the server, i get a link like this:

123.12.12.123/QvJAJAZfc/PDF/filename.pdf

This doesn't work. I am able to open the document if I remove the letters between the ip and PDF and prefix with file://

file://123.12.12.123//PDF/filename.pdf

Neither works when browsing the document from my machine.
