Let user to select which group to show in chart

Hi guys,

Please see the attached qvw.

I have defined two groups:

Grp1, containing the fiels FirstName, LastName

Grp2, containing the fields Age, EyesColor

I have a Chart, showing the groups. One chart for each.

I need to let the user to select which group to show in the chart.

I tried creating a calculated dimension, but it doesn't work.

I know I can conditiionally show one chart or the other, but in real life I have several objects to show for each case.

Is there any way to do it in a simple and clear way?

As far as I know, can be done on the fields but not on groups.
I do not think you can escape from conditiionally show method..

hi,

how about in dimension you Add Grp1 and Grp2, so you have 2 dimension in 1 chart.

so you can choose First Name or Last Name, and Age or EyesColor.
