How to give user access when server and publisher running separately

Hi,

Our marketing group have generated five different documents which they would like the same people (maybe 20 or so AD users) to have visibility of.

1. These are all AD users but are not all members of a single AD group.
2. I do not have permission to create AD groups and it is against our IT policy for them to allow me to maintain any AD group membership
3. I don't believe I can use local machine groups as publisher & server are on different boxes.

Does QV have any inbuilt user groups I can use?

Hi,

Publisher have nothing to do with users.

1) you can create local users on the server where qlikview server is hosted.
