How to do quarter analysis?

Hi,

I got sect of quarters and year, I want to analysis 1Qtr of 2013 VS 1st Qtr 2014 as well as 2nd Qtr of 2013 VS 2nd Qtr 2014

please go through the attachment and help me out. Thanks!

Hi,

Adding Year and Quarter as a Dimension with required expression in bar chart may help you to short out this. See attachment.

Take 2 dimensions and one expression like bellow..

Primary : Quarter

Secondary : Year

Expression: Sum(Sales)

Add two dimensions like Year and Quarter or make single dimension as calculated dimension if required

Dim1:-Year

Dim2:-Quarter

Expr:- Sum( YourExpression )

Or

Dim1:-Year&'-'&Quarter

Expr:- Sum( YourExpression )

If in your chart, blue color shows quarter value then other one is showing which value.

Blue shows - PLAN for Quarter

PINK - ACTUAL for Quarter

but I need it yearly I mean 2013 (PLAN, ACTUAL) VS 2014 (PLAN, ACTUAL)

yeah but when if I add more than one expressions bar look like mess coz I have selected 2 dimensions is there any way to show as my attachment?
