Hi,
In my qvd file i've different number of fields. I want to divide this fields into few groups and display in this listbox along with there min & max value in the expression.
First, the fields in qvd say A1,A2,A3,B1,B2,B3,C1,C2,C3....etc. For each field i'm able to catch min and max values. But how can i show in one listbox all A groups along with min and max values.
For Eg:
I want to see in the listbox like this:
GroupA Min Max
A1 3 5
A2 2 4
A3 5 10
Hi,
Its very simple, first load the QVD you have as you loaded earlier. Then create a straight table in Qlikview itself then export to excel.
Thats what i did, i just exported the data from your earlier example attached and i saved in excel. But while loading i loaded as cross table in qlikview script loading.
Cheers.
ya wt you said is correct. I understood the procedure but when qvd file is updated again i'll face the problem. Every time the min and max value will be changed based on the updation done to qvd file. Now, you have manually creating data in excel. Thats what i said in my first post.
Hi,
Can you attach your QVD.
Cheers.
Ok this enclosed file is qvd.
Hey Hi,
Kindly find the attached file.
Hope this will surely solves your problem.
Regards
Hi,
Please see the attached to load the data based on your QVD.
Cheers.
Thanks a lot Rahul, Actually i tried previously as you did. But, i'm not able to make group.
BlockRock S,
Your logic is good. But the think is we need to create another more two fields manually(i.e Data,Val).
Hi,
I dont think you are pretty new to Qlikview.
In my prvious post, i havent created any new data manually, i loaded the QVD you posted using crosstable option in Qlikview and named the fields Data and val while loading.
You can try that script to reload a new QVD file that you have, even you can add new data to that QVD and test the reload?
Feel free to let me know if you still cant get it how it is working.
Cheers.
BlackRock S,
I'm extremly sorry It's also correct.
