Hi,

I get shouting from one of my Senior everytime as 'I am a Dambo & I dont know anythning'

So planned to show my Senior.

Just one question "How to become Expert in QlikView"

Just keep this - "I have to .."
Start from the basic - go through qlikview reference manual and try to grasp the concept
Try to resolve the issues yourself(as far as possible), don't just let it go; don't turn to senior or forum easily
Once you are armed with some basics and a bit more, visit this community and try to help others; experience the different sorts of issues others face. This will help you become expert.

If possible buy the book 'QlikView 11 for Developers'

Hai,

In qlikview You need to focus on two things.

1. Business Flow: Without knowing the flow we can't be expert in Data modeling. So first , follow the business and make some modeling by your own.

2. Get Hands on in Scripting . Take the scenarios from communities, and upload the questions you have. And try to put in Qlikview everything.

Try to ask the community regarding commonly used functions and try to make hands on , on those

Theoretical Knowledge won't help you always.

2. Read the Support Forums and pick the CORRECT ANSWERS for each question * this is the single most helpful source of information.

3. Get a new job - your employer should not be calling you names,.

You have already taken your first step by joining this community. For starters, you can go through the qlikview tutorial and then qlikview reference manual and practice in various type of databases. Step by step you will know how to proceed.

"Practice makes man perfect" try to practice as many concepts you can from Qlikview.

We have thousands of concepts in Qlikview which are very much need to be followed in all the projects, so start implementing it and show your manager that what best you can do!!
