How to Refresh PowerPoint doc from QV ?

hello ,

We use NPrinting to show ppt doc with qv object , this is great ,

But the managers need to add some syntax on it ,

the problem is when we send another update ppt doc its run over the prev doc , and if the manager saves the doc on his desktop

to make some nice remarks - those remarks wont be in the new doc.

what is the solution for that ?

is it possible to refresh PowerPoint doc from QV and to see the update data any time we need ?

THANKS!

If NPrinting goes on to update the data in the new PowerPoint doc (including adding months, quarters, regions, changing KPI values etc) are those remarks still relevant?

If you make a copy of a Powerpoint and add remarks, those remarks won't be overwritten and will remain consistent with the QlikView data in that instance of the PowerPoint document.

If you want the remarks to be included in all future Powerpoint documents made by NPrinting, then why not simply update the PowerPoint template?

If you need the nprinting report to show changes, you need to make changes on QV.

Are these remarks originally from QV?

hi Peter , the people that use the remark are managers. they dont want to give me to add the remark in qv , because its a log story , they need something fast , to work Independent.

If you know how to make these remarks, you can create another QV, and then in your NPrinting NSQ file, add a new connection and then capture the remarks in your Nprinting reports.

I hope that makes sense.
