How much should be size of qvw file and reload time?

Hi,

I am working on a dashboard that handles millions of records from fact table and hundreds of records from about 8/9 tables that are linked.

The size of the dashboard is about 1 GB now. It looks like the file has become slow now. It takes about 30 seconds to save any change in script or UI. It takes 14 minutes to reload.

Questions are:

1. Is there any way to use more than one file for dashboard? Split existing one into more than one qvw files so that maintanance is easy, save time and reload time is reduced ?

2. What maximum size of file Qlikview recommends?

Hi Frank,

We have implemented most of the best practices but the file size itself if too large. Is there any way to split one qvw file into multiples?

Is there any use of include file option?
