How best to load and visualize multiple level hierarchy in QV

Hi There

I have a hierarchy table with the usual parent key, child key structure. Just 2 things i need assistance on.

1. Am i correct in assuming the hierarchy function is the best way to load the multipel level hierarchy in the QV script.

2. What is the best way to visualize this in desinger mode ? In other words to expand ifinitely into the hierarchy and easily identify how many parent levels any given key has ?

Thanx

It sounds like you want a pivot table with all of the levels of the hierarchy as dimensions. If so, then a hierarchy load is probably the most appropriate. Here is a trivial example to give you the idea.

Hello,

I'm studying the Hierarchy prefix and I was wondering if you have some examples a little bit more explained and a little bit more complex?

Thanks

Hi John,

I have gone through your QVW file. How to handle if the Level is mapped to Level 2 directly and i want the level 1 as blank  between the level  and level 2.
