there are free online trainings as well as a tutorial that you can download. I think both are linked from the New to QlikView Tab:

Then there are a lot of documents covering basics and best practices, it should be easy to find using the search at the upper right, e.g.

Adding to Stefan's post. QV reference guide is my best friend and I would recommend you to use it.

Hi,

As Stefen and DV gave very good references.

My favorite is f1 , as I keep foregetting the syntax for the functions. simply f1 helps me lot.

Then this wonderful community.

Also, I would suggest you to go through

section. Which will guide you through your Qlikview Journey.
