Hello,
I have read numerous posts here and it seems as though KEEP and JOIN functionalities do the same except Keep keeps the tables separate.
But once a Keep function is used, does it store the results in memory in one table but the user still sees it as two separate tables?
The result in memory is 2 tables ...
keep like where exists(), so you will get 2 tables
There is an explanation of how the data is stored in Henric Cronmstrom's blog
I can also recommend stephen-x.redmond book Mastering QlikView of you want a more in-depth view of the underlying mechanics of the data store and how to design efficient data models.
