Conditional Dimension

Hello.  I am learning Qlikview.

I have multiple sheets sharing one data source/table. One of the fields is EventType. I have altered states applied for each sheet so that the selection criteria does not impact the sheets.  I wish to only show data on all objects on sheet 1 where the EventType  = X and data on sheet two where EventType = Y.  I am not sure where to place this where/condition at.

Should I enable a conditional dimension and if so what would be an example of this?  Or is there a place at the sheet level I should do this?

Any tips are appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe you can create a list box in each sheet, select the respective value and lock the field. If needed, remove the list boxes.

Worked perfect.  Thanks.  I hid the selection and my other selection criteria is still working.  Thanks so much.
