Average, best in class metrics

Hello there,

not able to find answer to my question in existing forums in a reasonable time here's what I'd like to get some help on:

Have a list of say customers with their sales. There's Sales Amount by customer, next to it is Average Sales benchmark of all listed customers, Avg Potential all OK.

I struggle when trying to display Best-In-Class performance i.e. Top Sales (highest sales per selection - the top performing customer) and Top Potential (as a difference between Top value and actual sales per customer).

Sales AmountAverage SalesAvg PotentialTop SalesTop Potential
Customer 17040-30700
Customer 2404007030
Customer 31040307060
120

Any ideas?

Cheers

Pavol

Thanks for posting it, it does exactly cover the question, only if my SalesAmount was not already a complex formula but single field with values! The Max(Total ...) returns all Null() values. Any ideas how to deal with calculated fields for this case?
