ACTIVATE A CLICK ON A COLUM IN A ROW TO A OTHER COLUM

having a grid with 2 colums, col 1 =  'stripped' readable file name

col 2 contains full path and file name,   i  must click in col 2  to open file

would like to have a situation to hide col 2 for 'nicer'  view to user

how can i OR make on col 2  e.g  an Icon if ik click on Icon it opens file

OR make it possible if I click on col 1 , action goes to col 2,  as result open the file,  then I could hide col 2

You can make the link display the "stripped" document name with this expression:

=DocumentName3 & '<URL>' & DocumentLink3

That way, the user will see the readable file name, and will be able to open the file by clicking it.
