Hello @sabari1910 ,

Could it be that the default QVPR path has been changed on the QMC? and that is why you see old data on the xml file.

I would also advise to look at this document - Analyzing Your QVPR | Qlikview Cookbook

It might inspire you to create a qvw for the data you need.

Cheers,

Albert

@sabari1910

I checked here and my DistributionDetail.xml is updated and have the information. Note that each user/group has its own entry. Meaning that if you look at the TaskID it is repeated if you have more than 1 user.

I tested this in version 12.60

Thanks for your reply.

I have many user documents in my QMC ,so its really hard to check each and every document in QMC and collecting the user distribution details.

If my DistributionDetail.xml file is up to date simply I will collect the distribution user details ,but  in my case the file is not up to date.

I would be happy:), if you tell me how to get the updated .xml file.

If the file in the QVPR is not updated, you will not get the latest values in the QMC after a restart either. Have you had any issues like that?

Have you restarted the server after adding new groups?

Hi @sabari1910,

Do you use the QlikView Governance Dashboard? On the Publisher tab, you can select specific tasks. You could potentially add a List Box and configure it to display all of the distribution recipients. I'm not a developer, so I'm not sure what the mechanics would be for this.

Hi @Chip_Matejowsky

I'm not using Governance app.

Yes  of course , If we select the particular task we can see the user distribution list and get the details from that.

But I have more applications so it's really hard to click each and every app and collect the details :).

Yes ,I can see latest values in QMC ,but the .xml last updated date is showing very old.

@sabari1910,

As you stated you have multiple apps and its hard to click each one, please let us know what it is you envision the solution to be. A report that lists all apps and all the users they were distributed to?

My requirement is just to know about the distributed user details of each app.

ex below;

App name Distributed user ids
XXXXX.QVW user1;user2;
YYYYY.QVW user3;
ZZZZ.QVW user2;
