Role of QlikView QvPlugin

Is QvPlugin used to open documents on the access point?
Or is it used to open documents in QlikView Desktop?

I don't know exactly what QvPlugin does.
If possible, could you give me some guidance on this?

Yes the plug in is for opening from the Access point.

The plug in gives you an interface that looks almost like QlikView desktop. The plug in only works in compatibility mode in Edge, no other browser.

You don't have to use the plug in to open documents from the Access Point.
