I am working with QlikView Server 9 on Windows 2008. QlikView Server is configured for NTFS and automatically detected the LDAP server to draw the users from. I am attempting to implement security from an Excel source with the following columns:
ACCESS NTNAME NTDOMAINSID NTSID DEPARTMENT DEPTID_EMPLOYEE
Upon reloading the document and copying out to the sourcedocuments and user documents directory to view within Accesspoint I find that the document security is working as expected (users simply have to login with their network userid and password) but the additional DEPARTMENT column is not filtering the data appropriately.
Is there any additional configuration within the QlikView Management Console that needs to be configured beyond the installation defaults? Do I need to configure my documents to publish to authenticated users? What does the section access checkbox with the task scheduler do?
Any answers would be greatly appreciated.
