Connecting with ProgressDB

We wanted to Connect ProgressDB using Qlik Replicate, We could see as there is no direct connection we need to setup ODBC Connection.

Is it possible to connect ProgressDB using ODBC Connection ?

What all are the steps we need to follow to create the DSN ? is there any proper documentation for this ? Other than creating a DSN connection is there any other possible way to establish the connection.

Hello @AXK0121B ,

Welcome to Qlik Community forum and thanks for reaching out here!

There is not prebuilt endpoint for ProgressDB in current Qlik Replicate versions. If general ODBC Driver is available for ProgressDB, the brief steps are:

1. Install ProgressDB ODBC Driver on Replicate Server machine (64-bit Windows , or 64-bit Linux box)

2. New a 64-bit ODBC DSN (by using ODBC Manager in Windows, '/etc/odbc.ini' in Linux manually)

3. In Qlik Replicate, connect to the DSN by generic ODBC endpoint (supposing you are meaning the source endpoint), for example:

Please take note unless enabled through Professional Services and approved by your Account Manager, the ODBC source e...

 Hope this helps.
