Aggregated Fact table and Type 2 dimensions

Hi,

In Compose DataMart, when creating an aggregated Fact table / star schema and, at least, when referencing a type 2 dimension from another datamart, it seems that Compose will only include a column in the fact table for the _VID column in the type 2 dimension and not the _OID column.

This is not the case when I create a transactional Fact table - here I get both _VID and _OID columns to the Type 2 dimension.

Is there no way to get the _OID column into the aggregated Fact table?

Hi @bilzekek 

It's a product design, hence, adding _OID is not optional at this point.
The aggregation is performed by grouping the VIDs, aiming to obtain the highest level of detail.

However, you may consider raising a feature request for the same, and it will be reviewed by our product team who will determine the next steps in case we find a potential of implementing the feature to be part of the product.
