SUM(GetObjectMeasure(1)) - Dynamic Calculated Measure

I am trying to get this expression for a calculated measure to work, but have had no luck:

SUM(GetObjectMeasure(1))

Supposed to be substituted to:

SUM(TotalCost)

..and then calculated in a table chart.

There is too much data  including sensitive for me to include. The concept is simple given the example above.

It supposed to work, if you could provide a sample qvf with a scrambled/dummy data so we can check out what's wrong that would be helpful.
