Creating/Saving a sheet in "MySheets"

I hope I am in the right place to ask this question.  I am using Qlik Sense Enterprise at my work.  I log on, go to the hub, open the stream that I want to work in.  Once in there I have a number of sheets already available created by our dev team.  I have tried multiple times to edit/duplicate a sheet and modify it to suit my needs.  It works fine except every time the dev team updates the data in the stream, any sheet that I duplicated and had access to in "MySheets" disappears.  I am really tired of re-creating this view and they cannot tell me why it goes away or how I can save it so it is there ...always....until I don't need it anymore.  Can someone shed some light on this issue/question for me?  If there is a different process I should use I'd be interested to know as this is a view that I use often, and they update the data stream every week and I do not want to have to re-create this sheet every week 😞

Thanks in advance

Sounds like it may be how the Dev team is publishing new versions. I always worked under the assumption that Private Sheets and Bookmarks are tied to the id (guid) of the application. If you publish and replace, the guid remains and therefore so should the Sheets and Bookmarks.
If they are deleting then publishing you are getting a new app/guid each time so your Sheets and Bookmarks will be associated with non-existing apps

Thanks, yes that does sound like what they are doing.  I too assumed that if it was created in my account and saved in My Sheets, it would be there all the time...and now that you mention it I had the same issue with bookmarks but didn't put 2n2 together at the time.  So, if I publish it, will I have the same issue, and is a published sheet static - meaning the data cannot be updated with the stream; I'd have to re-pull the data and republish?  If that's the case then that won't suit my needs either, as I am looking for a way to have a view that I can use at any time in the data stream and update as needed.
