Is there an easy way to put a border in black around a text box or KPI visualization.

Newer (June 2018 maybe earlier?) version of Sense have a Style Sheet editor option.
Some widgets have an StyleSheet property that would also allow you to "override" a style; it would apply to any element on the sheet.
