need assistance to format the question in IAC

Hello Team,

I need help to format the question in IAC.

Find below scenario,

I want to see list of customer who did sales on specific dates (Customer must do sales on all those mention dates).

for example : list of customer where sales on 13-12-2021, 14-12-2021 and 16-12-2021

I tried below questions in IAC

1: Show me Customer wise Sales where Date is "13-12-2021", "14-12-2021" and "16-12-2021"

2: Show me Customer wise Sales where Date is 13-12-2021, 14-12-2021, 16-12-2021

3: Show me Customer wise Sales where Date is "13-12-2021" and Date is "14-12-2021" and Date is "16-12-2021"

Thanks & Regards,

Prashant Sangle

Try

Sales by customer with Transaction Date on 13-12-2014 and on 14-12-2014 and on 16-12-2014

Hello @pover ,

Thanks for replying, actually it is a year old query. Now I am not working on it. But I think issue is still not resolved.

In your screen shot, I can see it is filter for only 1st date.

Prashant Sangle

Hi @PrashantSangle ,

I figured it was old, but it was still good for me to practice and understand how Insight Advisor works. Also, I'm not sure any solution would really be workable. Who would expect a user to remember to ask a complicated question exactly like this in place of simply doing 3 clicks in a filter?

That being said, I looked at it again and it does select more than one date and it looks good when looking at the info button. However, in the set analysis in a generated chart it actually is a range from the 13-12-2014 - 16-12-2014, so it is still incorrect. I might say to future readers that this is a limitation.

Yes. I faced the same . To get the output which I was looking for that we need little complex set analysis like

Sum({<date={'13-12-2014'}>+<date={'16-12-2014'}>+<date={'18-12-2014'}>}Sales)

and I am looking for building this set analysis through insight advisor, But I did not found any workaround for it. So I convey them that it work like as you mention.

But thanks for trying.
