Connect to Qliksene qmc and hub from external pc

The public IP of the Qliksene server is 106.xxx.xxx.xxx.
Private IP is in the 192 band.

The external PC's public IP is 158.xxx.xxx.xxx.
Private IP is in the 10s range.

I want to view the qmc and hub of the qlik server from an external pc.
The ping from the external PC goes well to 106.xxx.xxx.xxx.

I added it to the proxy and whitelist on the Qlik server.
What should I do?
Is there a guide on how to add a proxy and view it from an external PC?
Please reply if possible.
thank you

@qwebnm this could have been done by Network team for firewall who can open the ports. If you have already knowledge about how Firewall works, you have to open ports objects (from as source of external IP's that is in range) to your destination of Qlik sense host details for Outbound.

Hello @qwebnm ,

Whitelisting the External IP should work. However, as mentioned by Anil, all the Ports required must be opened for communication.

For more information about Qlik Sense Ports, see here: Ports

If you are using any Custom ports, those also must be allowed.

Thanks!

Hi @qwebnm

In addition to opening the port, keep in mind that at the entering of your network with public IP 158.xxx.xxx.xxx, there must be a rule that redirects port 443(default) to your Qlik sense servers 192.xxx.xxx.xxx

normally this is done in a DNS or firewall, but my guess is that we are talking about a small or home network. If so, this have to be done in your internet router.

hope this helps.
