Qliksense vs Qlikview architecture questions

Hello,

I would like to understand the differences in terms of architecture between Qlikview and Qliksense, so here are my questions :

- It seems that publisher doesn't exist for Qliksense, while on Qlikview we have two servers : one for the publisher and one for Qliksense, enabling a better performance for the end users and the reloads, which is necessary as we have big applications. How could I keep that on Qliksense ?

- For a large number of users it is adviced on Qlikview to have a separated IIS server, is it also the case in Qliksense ? Moreover in large companies we tend to separate the IIS server from the applicative server, so could I know if it is harder to do on Qliksense compared to Qlikview ?

- Is there any other thing I should know regarding the difficulties of migrating from Qlikview to Qliksense ?

Thanks for your help.

"It seems that publisher doesn't exist for Qliksense" - it's not called a Publisher and it's not a separate license but included.
You have the Scheduler service in Sense taking care of scheduled reloads.

Sense does not use IIS but it's own webbserver.

The services in Sense can be distributed on several servers for better performance and you can cluster servers.
I would say you have better possibilities in Sense to set up an environment for performance.
If you have specific needs you should talk to Qlik and they can help you tailor your environment.

Migrating from QlikView to Sense your biggest issue is to convert the visualizations and user applications.
Don't try to build QlikView applications in Sense, learn Sense and use it strengths instead of trying to implement everything exactly as you did in QlikView.
