How to make a selective search Index in Qliksense

Is there a way to exclude a index field from regular search or filters also? We have about 80 columns and quite a few columns have mostly non distinct values. When we reload the app, app is taking quite a bit of time to index the values of these various columns. Users don't need filter capability on these columns. Wondering if there is a way to exclude these index fields from indexing.

Attaching an screenshot of the requirement wherein, I don't want some index fields out of these 20 index fields.

Have a look here https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-Design-Blog/Controlling-Fields-Shown-in-Smart-Search/ba-p/1463002

Two functions to use here:

Search Include

Search Exclude

Maybe I don't understand your requirement, but this is all there is on search indexing. Maybe you could check this site out too https://dataonthe.rocks/faster-smart-search-with-better-results/
