Hi community,
I noticed that Qlik released a generic SAML IDP connector in Qlik Cloud Platform and I would like to use it for Google Workspace. I already configured OIDC IDP for Google and it works good on Qlik Tenant, but Google doesn't return groups in the identity token in OIDC Version. By using SAML, I can retrieve groups.
I tried to configured it by creating a SAML application in Google Workspace but I don't know how to get the ACS URI.
Here's how I configured the IDP
Step 1: Getting IDP Metadata: I downloaded Meta Data to configure the IDP in Qlik Cloud.
Step 2: I tried to configure in Qlik CLoud by using IDP metadata file and by providing manually the informations (I tested multiples combinaisons here's below one of combinaison I tried).
Step 3: As I've no information to get any ACS URI, I tried to get it by creating the IDP without validating. And selecting my new SAML IDP Configuration > View provider configuration
Step 4: I blocked at this step because I've no clues where can I get the ACS URI to finish the IDP configuration
Have anyone already configured Generic SAML IDP with Google Workspace in Qlik Cloud Product ? Is there a bug or a lack of informations that made I can't continue the configuration. I already opened a ticket and support tells me to ask to community for this kind question.
Thank you
Best Regards
hi,
I am using Add a Chart to Report block and when I try to find the object using "do lookup". It doesnt find my object.
The object is in a published sheet and I also got the object id using /options/developer mode.
Any clue about that?
Thanks in advance
suggestion: maybe this block should first select the sheet and then do a lookup on the elements inside the selected sheet. Because there are lots os elements in the app, so the lookup takes too long
I'm an intern and I'm trying to determine whether a file was created today before 6.15 am or not. I'm using vfileexists as a counter. I have a Nprinting app through which I'm trying to shoot a mail if the condition is not satisfied. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
Hello,
My Source connection is an Oracle database. I have audit tables in my Replicate task "Full Load + Apply Changes"
the tables are huge and by nature there is heavy DML operations.
My target is Snowflake "Extra Small Size", I see significant amount of latency when i tried replicating audit tables.
Is there a way I can limit the date range to be at most 24 months of history data in the replicate task ?
Thank you.
Good day Qlik community,
I have an unusual requirement. I want my users to be able to click on a button on an app and call an automation sending their selections to the automation and applying the selections to the report. The first part is easy and it is working. I can pass and receive the selections in the automation.
The part that I cannot get it right is the one to pass the selection to the report. For some strange limitation, if I apply a bookmark to my automation, the report totally ignores it. I have to explicitly pass each field selection to the report using the Add Selections to report.
It does work if I create one of these blocks for each field but would require for me to know fields the user will select, which I don't. What I want is to loop through each field and apply the selection for that field.
I am using the block "List Current Selections" to loop these fields. This seems to work. Inside that loop, I am trying to use the block Add Selectiction to Report". That one does not work. It forces me to pick a field by the index (0, 1, 2) instead of do what any loop does and get the index for the corresponding loop iteration.
Ideas?

Hi,
I am trying to reload a Qlik Replicate task using QEM Python API.
I am using reload_table method to achieve my goal.
However, I do not see any option to define filters using the above method.
I have tried the below:
reload_table(server, table, filters:{col1:value1,value2})
but that doesn't work.
Is there any way to achieve my said requirement using the above method or is there any other method which I can use to reload the task with table filters.
Kindly assist.
HI
I am trying to call below API
curl -i -k -v -X PUT --header "EnterpriseManager.APISessionID: wCo0_KvjEUFROvfHF5KGrw" --header "Content-Length: 242" https://computer.network.net/attunityenterprisemanager/api/v1/servers/myrepsrv1/def -T "C:\myrepsrv1.json"
I have put my APISessionID and url and its connecting fine. At the end of log message, it says
> Content-Type: application/json
> Content-Length: 242
> Expect: 100-continue
>
< HTTP/1.1 100 Continue
HTTP/1.1 100 Continue
* We are completely uploaded and fine
and then gets stuck.
Any idea, whats going on. I am able to run REST API GET commands. I see below line in enterprise manager log when GET command is successful
25 2024-03-29 02:21:48 [Manager ] [INFO ] Executing public api AemGetServer.
Qlik Compose for Data Warehouses
I have updated the mapping for a particular field but can't figure out how to convince Compose to make the changes on previously written records. New records to the table are correct.
Testing the expression in the GUI gives the expected result:
However, after loading, only newly-written values are correct in the table in the data warehouse:
I have tried running an incremental load as well as a full load on the table, have cleared the metadata cache and the landing cache. It seems like I'm missing something obvious...any ideas?
Hi all,
I'm using the following calculated dimension to compare two columns that contain quite a few nulls.
=IF(
IF(ISNULL([t1.col]), 'Val', [t1.col])
=
IF(ISNULL([t2.col]), 'Val', [t2.col]),
0,
1)
The columns are basically both the same and as a result, I'm getting a lot of NULL values where both columns contain null values but I want the expression to print 0 if the two values are equal (and I'd consider them to be equal if they are both null).
I've tried this method, and I've also tried using ALT, as well as LEN(t1.col)<1 but neither of these has corrected the issue.
I found this article:
which says that comparing any two null values with any relational operator will result in a null value. But I thought I could circumvent this issue by converting all of my null values into text, however this doesn't seem to work.
Any help on this would be appreciated, I've tried pulling out each side of the operator in order to confirm that this code:
IF(ISNULL([t1.col]), 'Val', [t1.col])
will in fact convert null values into text and it seems to be working just fine but for some reason the if statement still doesn't work.
Thanks in advance for the help!
