This is what the reference manual states:

Mail with Bookmark as Link...

Only available when working with a QlikView Server document.

Creates an e-mail with a URL link to the current server document. A

temporary server bookmark will be created (including layout state)

and encoded in the URL. The mail recipient will be able to use the

URL link to open the server document and see what you see, provided

that he has access rights to the document and its data. You

need to have an e-mail client configured for this command to work.

The QlikView Server must be configured to allow server bookmarks.

Hi,

Do you have Outlook as your default mail client? Check in the Tools menu of Internet Explorer, Internet Options, Programs and click on the button "Set Programs". Once the OS detects the default mail client (Outlook in my case) that option will appear enabled.

Hope that helps.

Hi Miguel,

Yes we use MS Outlook with Exchange Server and I checked the settings for IE were set to Outlook as the default email program.

Hi Sean,

What about security configuration? Is there any chance that you are not allowing (or the domain by policy) to use or execute external programs? I haven't had to check anything else but to copy the document in the corresponding folder and then open it using either QVP or the AccessPoint.

My QlikView Server is on the browser trusted sites list.

Hope that helps.
