Import/Export document layout?

Hi,

Can any one help me how to import document layout in new qvw file.

Actually i tried to export documnet layout (File->Export->Export Docuement layout) and stores in our location where we want. Now this folder contains different number of xml files but when i'm trying to import it is not showing any file for selection.

Hi,

This feature has changed from version 10 on. Copied from version 10 Release Notes:

Import layout is not possible from Version 10 to Version 10. The functionality is kept for backward compatibility with Version 9, but for Version 10, we recommend that you create a project directory adjacent to your QlikView file and then move / copy the files from that project directory if you want to copy layout from one document to another.

You can export the layout, but not give a name. All objects will get names by default in the folder specified: SH01.xml for the first sheet layout, CH01.xml for the first chart layout, and so on, plus some other general properties xml files.
