Hide a column in Pivot Table

Hi all,

Can anyone help me?

I do a pivot table (see example attached). How do I hide the column C from the table when I select year 2011 in which there are no value of the product C and you see only the values ​​zero?

No. You can't. But there's a release coming soon for this: http://community.qlik.com/ideas/2084

Try working with  straight table.

You can't do it directly but there is an other alternative solution.

Check the attached modified file you will get exactly how you want.

In the previous file,the code will disable and enable the first expression.

Check the latest file,It will enable and disable the particular expression.

thank you very much, but I do not understand how it works. It appears that the only difference is that for the product C, the expression begins with the sign =.

Is this the cause for which the column is hidden?

Hi,

The macro will handle everything like enable or disable the particular expression.

I didn't get exactly what you are trying to ask other than this.

But onething i need from you wether it works or not?

Still if you have any doubts reply me i will explain.
