Hello,
I plan to uninstall my Qlik Sense Production single node server which currently used the production licence.
My new Qlik sense architecture is a multi node architecture with February 2024 release. The licence used for this environment is currently my Test licence.
Once my production environment will be unistalled, will a be able to activate my production licence on my new architecture ? Can you give me the procedure to follow for this?
Thanks.
I have created a bar chart with data that drills down. I am having problems with calculations in that chart. There are two filters, the bigger one is sports and the smaller one is athletes. Given the 5 biggest athletes in a few major sports, I want the chart to show a % of pay each of those athletes gets out of the sum of all 5 athletes.
My current code looks something like this:
Sum(Athletes_money)/sum(total Athletes_money)
This works when a specific sport is chosen, but when no filter is chosen and the bar chart shows all sports separate, the individual athletes money is divided by all of the athletes that are in the filter. Is it possible to make the denominator the total of just the athletes sports grouping instead of all athletes?
I am Trying to do CDC Load with ODBC Connection, After selecting the tables when i am trying to run the job it gets failed with below error.
Creating Metadata Manager's utility components failed
Cannot create the source utility component
Failed while preparing stream component 'QAD_PERU'.

Hi Experts,
Can anyone guide me how can I schedule to sends reports everyday after it get refreshed to certain email id's using Qlik Sense Automation ?
I know subscription option to Send reports on Daily, Weekly , Monthly , But i need to send Updated reports after Refresh is done.
Is there any other workaround apart from QLik NPrinting ?

Hello,
I am trying to develop a chart extension. I created a dropdown in the extension properties field. I want to make multiple selections from the data listed in the dropdown. Do you have a solution?
I have a map below, which related food to fcode. fcode is the key that links multiple tables together.
map1:
[food,fcode
apple,a
apple-pie,a
banana,b
banana-float,b
cherry,c
cherry-coke,c];
Let's say
Table 1 -uses fruits (applymap() can be used to turn food into fcode)
Table 2 -uses fcode (can not reverse into food)
Table 3 -uses fcode (can not reverse into food)
How can i create a filter, such that:
1. the filter display the food values. (i.e apple-pie and not 'a')
2. When selecting food values, the filter is applied to all tables (1,2,3). I.e if I select apple-pie (or apple), the filter also set fcode to 'a' and table 2,3 will display only information relating to 'a'. Note that it is accepted for either apple-pie or apple to be selected to filter for fcode 'a'
If I use applymap() on table 1, and filter by fcode, i lose context for my users who only understands food.
Hi, everyone!
My last question was about making partitions from one QVD to several smaller.
And kind user Brunobertels sent me a link to a post, how to do automatic partitions.
And now, I have many pratitioned QVD-files and task:
I have to load those QVD-files which have only data by asked dates in ODAG request.
I just made a next script:
//first check if it's not an ODAG request, but a common load from current window
if '$(odagActive)' = '' then
set 'odag_Date' = '''01.07.2019''';
end if;
[Tasks]:
LOAD
TaskID,
ContactID,
CompanyID,
CreationDate,
TaskExpDate,
EditDate,
TaskStatus,
CreatedUserID,
ResponsibleUserID,
TaskName
FROM[lib://DataFiles/CRM_Tasks_*.qvd](qvd)
where Match(CreationDate,$(odag_Date));
But as you can see, it's a bad script, coz it loads all the files(((
Please help me to load exact files with dates which was requested.
Here's my QVDs:
lib://DataFiles/CRM_Tasks_m01_y2019.qvd
lib://DataFiles/CRM_Tasks_m02_y2019.qvd
lib://DataFiles/CRM_Tasks_m03_y2019.qvd
lib://DataFiles/CRM_Tasks_m04_y2019.qvd
lib://DataFiles/CRM_Tasks_m05_y2019.qvd
etc till the end of 2020.
Hi Everyone
I am doing some API integration where I want to retrieve the status of a reload task and I came across GET /task to get the results. I wanted to check how I can filter it for a particular task. The document doesn't have the supported filters. Can some one guide me on how can I get the results for a specific task and also what values are there for "status" field.
