Users viewing Qlikview dashboard without Qlikview application

Hello,

We completed a rudimentary Qlikview dashboard and posted it on Sharepoint.  Someone without the Qlikview application attempted to open and view the file, but were not able to do so.  How does someone without the Qlikview application view the dashboard and are able to use the interactive tools to change chart results.

I'm guessing you mean you posted the QVW file for download, rather than integrated QV Web Parts (which is a whole other discussion). The short answer is that users without a license copy of QlikView Desktop cannot open a QVW file that other users have created. That's Qlik's entire marketing scheme. Typically, organizations use QlikView Server to distribute QlikView applications within an organization. QVS publishes QV files in AJAX format (i.e. as a regular website that users can access without installing anything).
