In Qlik SaaS external links all have the same icon. This hinders visual cues for what these links refer to.

It would be ideal to have the ability to modify the icon to an arbitrary image, like we can for Qlik apps:

I can't believe this still hasn't been done. Went to use external links to kick off webhooks to run some automations the other day, and not being able to change the image on the link just makes the solution look ugly and unintuitive.

Hopefully it will be picked up soon.

I agree, doesn't look like anything exceptional to implement but it makes the difference between something that looks professional and something that doesn't

There is a problem with this new feature.

When you create a link, you can add a thumbnail.

If you modify a link which has no thumbnail , you can also add a thumbnail.

But when you edit a link with an image, you can't change the Thumbnail ! So imagine you have to change the image, you must delete and recreate the external link, but what about users who have added this link to their collection ?
