get_owner_list failed Error in Qlik Replicate

We are connecting to ProgressDB using ODBC DSN, Connection was implemented successfully.

When we are trying to get the table details we are getting the below error.

SYS-E-HTTPFAIL, Command get_owner_list failed when getting the list.

SYS,GENERAL_EXCEPTION,Command get_owner_list failed when getting the list.,Failed to get owners '' RetCode: SQL_ERROR SqlState: 08S01 NativeError: 0 Message: [DataDirect][ODBC Progress OpenEdge Wire Protocol driver]Unexpected Network Error. ErrNum = 10054

Do we have to give any particular access, the user has access to all the tables in Progress DB.

Hello @AXK0121B ,

Thanks for reaching out Qlik Community!

Not very sure what's the platform of Qlik Replicate server. If you have configured an 64-bit ODBC DSN, then we may troubleshoot the issue by:

1. Set SERVER --> Logging --> Server Logging Level --> SERVER : set to Verbose

  john_wang_0-1712794561963.png

2. Recreate the error then check "repsrv.log", we can get the SQL statement which Replicated used to get available tables list or views list

3. Manually execute the same SQL in "isql" command (in Linux), or any other 3rd party ODBC Test Tool (in Windows) to understand the failure reason.

Hope this helps.

John.

@john_wang We are currently using a trail ODBC version for progressDB, which we downloaded from

https://www.progress.com/odbc/openedge

will this be the reason we are getting the below error ?

2024-04-11T09:58:41:390179 [SERVER ]I: Failed to get 'ddoe27.dll' syntax, working with the default

Hello @AXK0121B ,

Looks to me the error is irrelative to trail version. Please work with PS team to move it forward smoothly.

Regards,

John.
