How to export metadata information from a Qlik Sense App

Hi

We have developed several Apps on QlikSense and want to have the ability to export their metadata (such as names of tables, fields, QVDs, calculated measures, etc...).
Unfortunately, we don't have the Qlik Data Catalog product yet and would like to know if there is any way to be able to do this export using the functionality exposed by QlikSense (native or via a custom development or via REST API).
Can you kindly give us some help?

Thanks in advance

Hi, why you are not using App Metadata analyzer  it is default app in following folder : C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Repository\DefaultApps

or you can use QSD pro document analyzer  https://easyqlik.com/qsda/

Hi

Thank you for the answer.

We are interested  to try out the App Metadata analyzer bu unfortunately we can't actually use it because Qlik is installed on a remote server that is protected by severe policy rule. Is there a way to download it online?

Thank you

For me, quite helpful 'tool' for basic metadata retrieval or quick look is chrome extension 'add sense'. It require some manual work to copy everything to, for example, excel, but its still something if you don't want to use app analyzer.
