How to create a Forecast for the processing time

Hello all,

We just moved to Qlik Saas and I was told to create a forecast projection chart on average processing time for remaining months in 2023. I do not have a big data set with many fields, just the "record register date"and the "processing time".

When I use a simple line chart, it shows correctly average processing time from Jan,2023 till today as shown below but then  I cannot see Forecast option under measure.

 When I changed the X axis to continuous,  I can see the Forcast button but it was not showing the data as I was expecting. 

It is showing something like this-

I know the issue is in dates as I am not using master calendar.

Please help me how I can display end of year projections without using master calendar.
